Shift Security - DCTL - Dahej

Job Description Position Overview: The Shift Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all security operations during assigned shifts. This includes monitoring entry and exit points, managing surveillance systems, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and coordinating emergency responses. The role demands vigilance, leadership, and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders to maintain a secure and compliant environment. Key Responsibilities: Critical Responsibilities: · - Monitor daily shift activities including entry/exit of personnel, materials, and vehicles. · - Conduct thorough checks of vehicles and laborers. · - Enforce company rules and ensure proper documentation for material movement (NRGP/RGP). · - Maintain operational readiness of all security equipment. · - Manage visitor protocols including safety briefings and PPE compliance. · - Monitor surveillance systems (CCTV, HHMD, motorized gates, weighbridge). · - Ensure timely AMC of security equipment. · - Respond to emergencies (fire, chemical spills, breaches) and conduct investigations. · - Inspect premises for unauthorized activity or damage. · - Manage gate control, traffic, and parking. · - Maintain incident logs and MIS reports. Routine Responsibilities: · - Conduct regular patrolling and surveillance (including Padariya land). · - Maintain visitor and vehicle documentation records. · - Issue ID cards to contract workers post-clearance. · - Conduct daily briefings for security staff. · - Organize security drills and special checks. · - Ensure QRT team readiness. · Liaise with local police and authorities. · - Coordinate gate pass issuance and renewals. · - Manage CCTV and weighbridge operations. · - Prepare and audit security SOPs.
