Production Field Operator - Tank Farm - DCTL Dahej

Key Responsibilities: Operations Monitor and operate tank farm equipment including storage tanks, pumps, valves, pipelines, and transfer systems. Perform product transfer operations between tanks, production units, and loading/unloading stations. Conduct routine field inspections to ensure equipment integrity and operational efficiency. Monitor tank levels, temperature, pressure, flow rates, and other process parameters. Carry out line-up activities for product receipt, dispatch, and inter-tank transfers. Assist in startup, shutdown, and changeover activities of tank farm operations. Loading & Unloading Execute safe unloading of raw materials from tankers, ISO tanks, and rail wagons (if applicable). Coordinate loading of finished products to road tankers and containers. Verify quantities, documentation, and product identification before transfers. Ensure loading/unloading operations comply with SOPs and safety guidelines. Safety & Compliance Strictly follow company EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) policies and procedures. Participate in Permit to Work (PTW), Lockout-Tagout (LOTO), and confined space activities. Use prescribed PPE and maintain safe work practices. Identify unsafe conditions and report near misses, incidents, or equipment abnormalities. Participate in emergency drills, spill response, and firefighting activities. Maintenance Support Assist maintenance teams during preventive and breakdown maintenance activities. Perform basic troubleshooting of pumps, valves, and instrumentation. Report equipment defects and initiate maintenance requests. Documentation Maintain operational logs, transfer records, and shift reports. Record tank inventory, product movement, and consumption data accurately. Update checklists and inspection reports as per company requirements. Housekeeping Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping standards in tank farm areas. Ensure proper segregation and disposal of waste as per environmental standards.
