Property Manager - Compliance Specialist - HUD Project Based Sect. 8

About Us Diamond Management Group is a privately owned property management company. We are seeking an experienced HUD Compliance Specialist to oversee compliance for our portfolio of four Project-Based Section 8 (PBRA) communities. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced compliance professional who can work independently, maintain regulatory compliance, and support property operations. Responsibilities Process Annual and Interim Recertifications. Maintain compliance with HUD Handbook 4350.3. Complete and review Enterprise Income Verification (EIV). Process and monitor TRACS submissions. Ensure compliance with HOTMA requirements. Review tenant eligibility and income calculations. Prepare files for Management & Occupancy Reviews (MORs). Conduct file audits and correct compliance deficiencies. Interpret HUD regulations and provide guidance to onsite staff. Maintain accurate resident files and compliance documentation. Work closely with management to ensure all HUD requirements are met. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of Project-Based Section 8 (PBRA) compliance experience. Extensive knowledge of HUD Handbook 4350.3 . Hands-on experience with: Annual & Interim Recertifications EIV TRACS HOTMA HUD file reviews Management & Occupancy Reviews (MORs) Experience using Yardi (preferred). Strong knowledge of Fair Housing regulations. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Preferred Certifications Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) Certified Professional of Occupancy (CPO) Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) Other HUD or affordable housing certifications are a plus.
