Backend Engineer

Job Title: Backend Engineer About The Role: The Backend Engineer is responsible for creating and maintaining components and features on the server-side, which support the functionality of frontend applications. This includes developing, testing, debugging, and ensuring high performance and reliability of backend systems. The role focuses on supporting the overall product development lifecycle while adhering to company technology standards. What Will You Do: Work as part of a Scrum team, taking responsibility for backend development within the team. Actively participate in the product development lifecycle to ensure alignment with project goals. Design and implement scalable, testable, and secure backend applications in line with product goals. Write clean, efficient, and testable code, ensuring adherence to development standards. Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging to ensure functionality and performance. Manage the development and maintenance of Java Spring Boot applications. Prepare and release software components, ensuring high availability and performance. Collaborate across departments to resolve system, application, and user issues. Provide training, guidance, and support to other team members as needed. Support continuous improvement efforts by investigating new technologies and tools. Conduct peer code reviews and ensure code quality aligns with company standards. Ensure continuous professional self-development by staying updated on industry trends and tools. Soft Skill Requirements: Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
