Key responsibilities • Develop new dry strip processes to meet the various requirements for advanced semiconductor technology nodes • Manage process development and reliability projects • Monitor hardware performance and verify stability of newly developed processes • Data Reduction and root cause analysis during development and troubleshooting • Develop and modify hardware as needed to improve process results, involvement begin at C&F level through verification at customer sites • Diagnostic equipment operation and data analysis • Generate detailed report for internal and external customers • Process verification and troubleshooting at various customer sites • Design experiments, root cause analysis and detailed documentation for technical issues during development and troubleshooting • Support transfer of technology to field staff and customers • Perform other duties as assigned Requirements: • Demonstrated hands-on experimental experience in a technical environment • BS in chemical Engineering, material science or related field and 3 years of experience. Advanced degrees preferred but not necessary • Excellent data analysis skills, including numerical and statistical analysis of data, treatment of experimental errors and graphical presentation of diverse datasets • Excellent documentation and communications skill • Generation of reports and presentations for internal and customer review • Must be able to work independently under deadline pressure in a highly dynamic environment • Flexible to work shifts that may include swing and weekends • Must be able to work safely in a laboratory environment containing high-energy machinery and hazardous gases • Must be able and willing to travel outside the US (20-50%) to customer sites for on-site process support as needed Environmental, Health & Safety Requirements: • Successful completion of required Safety training • Remain informed about safety and health regulations affecting the operations of supervision • Ensure each employee is able to safely complete each task to which he/she is assigned • Investigate accidents and incidents that have occurred; identify the corrective action necessary to prevent a similar accident from occurring • Ensure equipment and machines are maintained in safe operating condition • Report to the Safety Officer any unsafe or unhealthy condition which cannot be corrected • Follow all safety and health regulations and work practices, including personal protective equipment where applicable
