VP, Associate General Counsel Legal

Serve as an Attorney in the SGLA Law Department providing effective, efficient legal counseling and advice to SGLA’s financial solutions business units in North America and, in some instances, globally, with a focus on financial solutions, including but not limited to block transactions, portfolio transfers, surplus relief, redundant reserve financing, biometric inforce transactions, M&A financing, RBC relief transactions, capital optimization solutions, VIF financing and other non-traditional reinsurance solutions. In addition, this position will also assist the SVP, Chief Legal Officer with assistance regarding M&A, internal legal entity structuring/restructuring, block acquisition/transfer, joint ventures and other similar transactions.

Additional responsibilities may include providing regulatory, M&A and legal entity structuring assistance to the US Life Legal team as needed.
