Mission

We are currently looking for a Engineering Manager who wants to lead people and strengthen technology teams: someone with a genuine passion for developing talent, a solid technical vision, and the drive to build a culture of high excellence. You will oversee performance, make decisions to ensure quality and progress, and define strategies to meet deadlines.

The Role

  • Lead, motivate, and support the professional growth of engineers and technical team leads through weekly 1:1s and individual career development plans.
  • Manage team performance by setting clear expectations, providing ongoing feedback, and supporting team members through improvement processes or role transitions.
  • Oversee the team's technical quality, including code reviews, coding standards, architecture, and infrastructure.
  • Identify, prioritize, and address technical debt, communicating its impact to relevant stakeholders.
  • Anticipate risks and improvement opportunities before they become pain points, proposing solutions with sound technical judgment and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Guide the team through production incident resolution and post-mortem analyses to strengthen system resilience.
  • Define and maintain agile working methodologies, meeting dynamics, and internal communication channels.
  • Ensure technical excellence and development team efficiency, enabling the agile delivery of value through robust and scalable solutions.
  • Lead the management of area resources and tooling (DevOps/DevEx) to accelerate and automate development workflows.
  • Collaborate to translate strategic vision into team roadmaps.
  • Report directly to the CTO, providing a coherent view of the technology strategy aligned with company goals, delivery performance, and individual team performance.

What we need

  • At least 3 years of experience leading engineering teams 8-10 or more people, with demonstrated ability to develop talent (promotions, career plans, performance improvements).
  • At least 5 years of solid software development experience, with a minimum of 2 in Senior Engineer or above roles: ability to contribute to technical decisions, code reviews, and define quality standards.
  • Leadership competencies in mentoring and development, communication and feedback, performance management, and effective delegation.
  • Clear and direct communication skills, with the ability to deliver difficult feedback and handle complex conversations with empathy.
  • Data-driven mindset: use of team metrics (eNPS, lead time, satisfaction) to continuously improve operations.
  • Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and ability to facilitate planning sessions, retrospectives, and workshops.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals.
  • Prior experience working with engineering performance metrics (e.g. DORA Metrics).
  • Proactive approach to planning and prioritization.
  • Ability to translate business objectives into achievable technical commitments.
  • Results-oriented mindset.

What we offer

  • A committed and fast-growing team. You will be joining at a key moment, with a lot to build and a real opportunity to make an impact.
  • Hybrid work model in Barcelona with flexible hours.
  • Offices near the beach with a terrace and pet friendly environment.
  • Flexible compensation plan.
  • Health insurance fully covered by the company.
  • 2 team events per year to disconnect and recharge.
