Maintenance Assistant

• Performing general building maintenance and repair tasks, including cleaning, minor repairs, and assisting with larger projects, while ensuring facilities are safe and functional
• Performing general building maintenance and repair tasks, including cleaning, minor repairs, and assisting with larger projects, while ensuring facilities are safe and functional
• Assist artisans in the completion of planned maintenance and corrective maintenance

• Assist artisans by performing any reasonable task prescribed
• Perform minor maintenance work as prescribed by artisans
• Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained in the workshop and stores areas and perform related tasks
• Close out safety job cards.

Minimum qualifications, skills and competencies required by the position

• Matric
• Medical certificate of fitness
• Previous experience in a maintenance assistant role
• Computer literacy
