Position Details

Job Title: Lab Technician

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Groton, CT

Job Description

  • Maintain and complete accurate records.
  • Operate microtome, embed centers, and tissue processors.
  • Ability to perform automated hematoxylin and eosin staining.
  • Must stay within GLP compliance at all times.

Qualifications

  • Must be experienced in preparing paraffin tissue specimens.
  • American Society for Clinical Patholoy (Histology Technician) certification desirable.
  • Must be familiar with general safety procedure and guidelines.
  • Must be self-motivated and have a strong attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills required.
  • Need only on W2 no C2C
