Accounting Team Lead

The Role

• Netlight is seeking a Team Lead within accounting, who will be
• responsible for leading a team of GL accountants globally as well as supporting the continuous improvement of finance processes globally.
• The position is located in our office in Stockholm but you will be collaborating with colleagues across all our offices in an international Finance team.
• Who you are

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience within finance, accounting, or a similar field.
• Experience from an ERP system implementation is highly preferable; experience with leading cloud-based ERP solutions, is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to drive improvements and manage change in finance processes.
• Experience from a similar team-lead or senior accountant/controller role is meriting.
• You are fluent in Swedish & English (Netlight’s corporate language).
• You are solution-oriented, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving international environment.

• What you will do

• Lead and oversee daily general ledger and accounting operations.
• Drive and support the month-end and year-end closings and reporting processes in cooperation with the group financial controller.
• Ensure balance sheet reconciliations and income statement review.
• Oversee annual financial reporting and audit.
• Manage VAT, tax, and other authority reporting.
• Streamline and improve financial routines and processes on a global scale.
• Support and coach your team members, nurturing a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Act as project lead or finance expert in system implementation and development projects.
