About The Role

What will you be doing?

As a Commissioning Engineer , you ensure that all on-board installations function flawlessly. You test systems, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues before they arise. You'll work with a wide range of systems in a high-end environment where quality and precision are paramount.

You’ll be part of a team but enjoy a great deal of autonomy in your daily work.

Your responsibilities include

  • Verifying the functionality and technical integrity of installations
  • Commissioning systems, occasionally in collaboration with clients or partners
  • Performing functional and I/O testing according to protocols
  • Locating and analysing faults using test data
  • Implementing technical modifications to installations or control systems
  • Documenting test results and managing revision drawings
  • Carrying out final inspections prior to handover

Who are you?

You’re independent, analytical, and thorough in your work. You know how to test and optimise complex installations and always maintain a clear overview. You’re solution-oriented and take responsibility for delivering the final result.

You bring

  • An MBO diploma in Electrical Engineering
  • Affinity with or interest in the maritime sector
  • Strong communication skills, including proficiency in English
  • Willingness to travel internationally on occasion
