Tasks

As a Supply Chain Strategist , you will play a central role in cross site production planning, ensuring that capacities, demand, and delivery schedules are optimally aligned across the international production network.

  • Network Planning: Take ownership of end-to-end planning for selected value streams across multiple production sites and countries.
  • Capacity Management: Plan and align capacities, demand, and delivery schedules to ensure efficient utilization of production facilities.
  • Supply Planning: Develop reliable monthly supply plans by balancing forecasts, inventory levels, and available production capacity.
  • Cross Functional Coordination: Work closely with international logistics and production teams to ensure stable product availability and high service levels.
  • S&OE Management: Prepare and support S&OE planning meetings through KPI analysis and by validating and updating production plans.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously improve planning processes, governance parameters, and planning tools such as SAP IBP.
  • Data Management: Analyze inventory levels and maintain as well as optimize relevant master data in planning and ERP systems.
  • Decision Support: Provide a solid foundation for decision-making for cross-functional teams and management.
  • Change Management: Support ongoing transformation initiatives and actively contribute to the international development of the production network.

Profile

  • Completed vocational training or a university degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Production Management, or a related field.
  • Around 10 years (or more) of professional experience in network planning, production planning, or supply chain planning.
  • Experience in internationally connected production environments .
  • Confident handling of SAP and strong understanding of planning, scheduling, and production processes.
  • Fluent in English; German is considered a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex global interdependencies and maintain oversight in fast-changing environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with enthusiasm for working with international teams and stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 10 to 20% ).
