Senior CyberSecurity Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement, and maintain advanced security solutions protecting systems, networks, and data. This role involves strategic leadership in addressing evolving cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement security architecture for networks, systems, and applications
- Monitor security systems and respond to incidents and breaches
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Lead incident response and remediation efforts
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices
- Evaluate and deploy security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, firewalls)
- Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigations
- Ensure compliance with standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR)
- Mentor junior staff and provide technical leadership
- Stay updated on emerging threats and technologies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 5–10+ years experience in cybersecurity or information security
- Strong knowledge of network security, encryption, identity management, and cloud security
- Hands-on experience with security tools and platforms
- Experience with scripting/programming (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Deep understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems
- Preferred Certifications: CISSP, CEH, CISM, CISA, CompTIA Security+

- Incident Response and Threat Analysis: Skilled in quickly identifying and mitigating security incidents by analyzing threats and implementing effective countermeasures.
- Security Architecture and Design: Experienced in creating robust security frameworks aligned with best practices and organizational goals to protect against evolving cyber threats.
- Risk Management: Proficient in assessing risks and vulnerabilities, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Thinking: Strong logical reasoning and data analysis skills to address complex security issues and implement corrective actions.
- Communication and Leadership: Able to clearly convey technical information to diverse audiences and lead teams through incident response and security improvements.
Preferred Certifications
- CISSP, CEH, CISM, CISA, CompTIA Security+ or higher
