About the Role
ValGenesis is seeking an experienced Architect in Test Automation to join our innovative Engineering team. This role is pivotal in driving the automation strategy and developing robust test frameworks for our next-generation cloud products. Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of automated testing frameworks for various application platforms, including web and mobile.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, and product owners to ensure a seamless integration of automation in the development lifecycle.
- Establish and maintain best practices for test automation and quality assurance processes.
- Mentor and guide team members in test automation practices and frameworks.
- Define and track key performance metrics for testing efforts and continually optimize processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate them into automation practices.
- Own and be accountable for the quality and reliability of automated testing deliverables
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software testing and automation, with a strong focus on automation frameworks and strategy.
- Proficient in programming languages such as C#, Python, or Java.
- Extensive experience in UI and API testing, along with performance and security testing methodologies.
- Strong expertise in building and implementing scalable automation frameworks, preferably using open-source tools.
- Experience with Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD methodologies to facilitate integrated testing efforts.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a deep understanding of software development lifecycles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of the life sciences industry and compliance standards is a plus.
