Sr. Project Manager (Client Delivery)

About The Role
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Own and manage the full lifecycle of client-facing IT projects midmarket to enterprise clients, ensuring delivery on scope, schedule, quality, and overall outcomes.
- Serve as the primary client contact for assigned projects, managing expectations, facilitating decision-making, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, and delivery milestones.
- Provide delivery leadership to cross-functional technical teams and third-party vendors, ensuring alignment and execution against project objectives.
- Drive project governance through structured status reporting, risk and issue management, and change control processes.
- Proactively identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and scope changes, escalating as appropriate while retaining ownership of resolution.
- Oversee client onboarding and transition into managed services as part of project execution.
- Ensure all project deliverables align with contractual commitments, service expectations, and internal delivery standards.
- Apply prior leadership experience to guide delivery teams and contribute to the ongoing improvement of project management practices, tools, and governance frameworks.
- Collaborate with delivery leadership to support consistency, quality, and continuous improvement across client engagements.
Competencies & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
- 5–8+ years of experience managing client-facing IT projects in an MSP, consulting, or professional services environment.
- Proven experience owning projects end-to-end with direct client accountability.
- Experience delivering solutions for midmarket to enterprise clients is highly preferred.
- Background in an IT solution provider, MSP, VAR, or broader IT channel environment strongly preferred.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification.
- Experience contributing to PMO development, delivery governance, or project management process improvement.
- Familiarity with IT delivery models, including infrastructure, cloud, security, and managed service.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and project methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid).
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project, Trello).
