About The Role

Lavipharm is looking for a highly efficient and dynamic Credit Controller to join the Finance team.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all day-to-day activities of credit department.
  • Monitor and manage the credit control processes, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Review and analyze financial records of customers to assess creditworthiness.
  • Maintain accurate credit files and records and monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments and address any payment delays or discrepancies promptly.
  • Work closely with customers providing excellent customer service and resolving billing inquiries or disputes.
  • Generate regular reports on accounts receivable, collections and credit risk to management
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to credit control and propose process enhancements when necessary.
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing credit and accounts receivables or in a similar credit management role
  • Strong knowledge of credit control principles and practices
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to evaluate financial information, perform risk assessments and make informed credit decisions
  • Ability to implement accounting principles and practices effectively
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively resolve conflicts
