Chemical Mixer/Chemical Operator

Mixer / Mixer assistant tasks include but not limited to the following

• Receiving chemical totes after being approved by QA and organizing it in the assigned place
• Maintain the mixing area and equipment
• Clean the mixing vessel and all equipment used in batch making
• Follow standard safety protocols when dealing with chemical compounds
• Pulling out different material needed for the new mixing assignment with the correct lot numbers
• Measure and weigh the components needed for the mix recipe and add it to the mixing vessel in the right order of addition supplied in the recipe
• Test Viscosity, solids %, pH, density and surface tension on the finished product and input into the system
• Pump out the finish mix into storage tanks and record yield in the system
• High school diploma/equivalent-English write/read
• Forklift certified
• Basic math skills-metric system understanding
• Mixing and compounding experience
• Basic Computer knowledge
• Willing to work off shifts
• Must be able to pass a background and drug screen
