Radiologist Immediate Vacancy Oman

About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologist to join a reputed healthcare facility in Oman. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies, providing accurate and timely reports, collaborating with multidisciplinary clinical teams, and delivering high-quality patient care in accordance with international standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and report diagnostic imaging studies, including X-ray, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Mammography, and Fluoroscopy, as per hospital facilities.
- Perform and supervise ultrasound examinations and image-guided diagnostic and interventional procedures where applicable.
- Provide accurate, timely, and clinically relevant radiology reports.
- Consult with referring physicians regarding imaging findings and appropriate diagnostic pathways.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings and clinical case discussions.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations and quality assurance protocols.
- Maintain accurate medical records and imaging documentation.
- Supervise and mentor junior radiologists, residents, and radiographers when required.
- Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives, audits, and continuing medical education (CME).
- Participate in on-call duties and emergency reporting as per hospital requirements.
- Adhere to hospital policies, ethical standards, and Oman Ministry of Health regulations.
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
- MD, DNB, DMRD, FRCR, Arab Board, or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Radiology.
- Eligibility for or possession of a valid Oman Ministry of Health (MoH) license.
- Minimum 5–8 years of post-specialization experience in a hospital setting.
- Strong expertise in cross-sectional imaging, including CT and MRI interpretation.
- Experience in ultrasound reporting and image-guided procedures is preferred.
- Excellent diagnostic, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
