About The Role
Join a nationally recognized real estate practice working on sophisticated, high-value commercial transactions across the U.S.
Our client is actively seeking a mid-level Associate (3–8 years) to join its growing Real Estate Practice Group in Salt Lake City. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside a highly respected team advising lenders, developers, investors, and corporate clients on complex real estate matters.
This role offers exposure to high-impact commercial real estate transactions across multiple asset classes including office, multifamily, retail, industrial, and hospitality.
You will work with
- National and regional financial institutions
- Real estate developers and investors
- REITs and opportunity funds
- Corporate borrowers and owners
Our client’s team handles the full lifecycle of real estate transactions , including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leasing.
What You’ll Do
- Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements
- Structure and document commercial real estate financing transactions
- Assist with construction loans, syndicated loans, and credit facilities
- Handle commercial leasing (landlord & tenant representation)
- Support due diligence efforts , including title and survey review
- Work on development, joint venture, and equity investment transactions
- Collaborate with clients to provide practical, business-focused solutions

Requirements
- 3–8 years of commercial real estate or real estate finance experience
- Active license to practice law in Utah (or ability to waive in)
- Experience from a law firm environment
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
