Senior BIW Costing Engineer

Position Value

• 1.Complete and report relevant analysis reports according to customer requirements
• 2.Research and investigate cost parameters and technical parameters
• 3.Execute product cost calculation and provide cost optimization ideas or target cost
• 4.Timely coordinate to solve problems to ensure project normal delivery
• KEY MEASURES & INDICATORS (main KPIs used in the role)
• 1.Generate technical insights report, costing calculation and report, DtC/VAVE ideas and report as per the tasks assigned by manager and according to required quality standards

Requirements

Qualifications and skills

1.More than 5 years experience/knowledge of BIW & technologies like stamping, welding, casting, forging, painting, machining in the function of Product Development, Cost Engineering, Purchasing, SQE/STA, Lean Manufacturing or Value Engineering;

2.Experience on BOM cost calculation, DtC/VAVE from supply chain, material and manufacturing process;

3.Stamping / forging technology manufacturing and costing knowledge;

4.English written & oral, overseas study experience is a plus;

5.Bachelor or above degree in electronics, mechanical, industrial engineering or related area;

6.Good communication skills and teamwork spirit;

7.Strong adaptability and flexibility, innovative spirit;
