AI/Gen AI Engineer

We are looking for an AI / GenAI Engineer to join a large financial institution based in Brussels (2 days/week onsite).

In this role, you will own small to medium-sized features from start to finish, including analyzing requirements, designing solutions, coding, testing, and supporting them in production. You will contribute to the development of AI-powered solutions while following engineering best practices and collaborating closely with your team.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and design solutions
• Develop, test, and support features in production
• Own small to medium-sized features end-to-end
• Apply engineering best practices related to security, performance, scalability, and DevSecOps
• Proactively solve problems and contribute to improving existing systems
• Collaborate with teammates and contribute to the team's overall success
• Support and coach colleagues where needed

Requirements

• Fluent in English and French or Dutch
• Minimum 3 years of experience in AI / Generative AI Engineering

• Azure AI Services:
• Document Intelligence
• Azure Machine Learning (Azure ML)
• Azure OpenAI / Azure AI Foundry
• Chatbots / LLM-based customer-facing applications
