The Senior Sound Designer independently crafts complex, emotionally impactful audio experiences across characters, objects, and environments. They collaborate closely with design, animation, narrative, and engineering teams to ensure seamless and meaningful audio integration throughout the game.

In this role you will

  • Design and deliver high-quality audio for game sections in collaboration with stakeholders to ensure cohesive integration.

  • Create, implement, and maintain audio assets for characters, objects, and environments, including sound event integration with animations.
  • -
  • Design complex audio systems using Wwise and Unreal, ensuring seamless functionality and integration into gameplay.
  • -
  • Record and edit various audio elements, including sound effects and voice-over assets.
  • -
  • Test, validate, and refine in-game audio to deliver emotionally impactful player experiences.
  • -
  • Manage priorities effectively, contribute to meetings, and proactively suggest solutions throughout production.

What we are looking for

  • ​ Minimum 5 years of experience with the entire production cycle for multiple video games, from preproduction to live operations.
  • -
  • Excellent knowledge of techniques related to sound (recording, mixing, integration, postproduction, foley, SFX, music).
  • -
  • Experience with adding sound to a visual medium.
  • -
  • Excellent knowledge of standard audio and game development tools.
  • -
  • Knowledge of mastering standards.
  • -
  • Excellent grasp of the relationship between SFX and music.
  • -
  • Portfolio demonstrating your work in sound design.

Dans ce rôle, tu devras

  • Concevoir et livrer un audio de haute qualité pour différentes sections du jeu, en collaboration avec les parties prenantes, afin d’assurer une intégration cohérente;
  • Créer, implémenter et maintenir des éléments audio pour les personnages, objets et environnements, incluant l’intégration des événements sonores aux animations;
  • Concevoir des systèmes audio complexes à l’aide de Wwise et Unreal, en assurant leur bon fonctionnement et leur intégration fluide au gameplay;
  • Enregistrer et éditer différents éléments audio, incluant les effets sonores et de voix hors champ (voix off);
  • Tester, valider et itérer sur l’audio en jeu afin d’offrir une expérience émotionnellement impactante aux joueurs;
  • Gérer efficacement les priorités, contribuer aux réunions et proposer proactivement des solutions tout au long de la production.

Ce que nous recherchons

  • Minimum 5 ans d’expérience du cycle complet de production de plusieurs jeux vidéo, de la préproduction aux opérations en direct;
  • -
  • Excellente connaissance des techniques liées au son (enregistrement, mixage, intégration, postproduction, bruitages, effets sonores, musique);
  • -
  • Expérience en ajout de son à un support visuel;
  • -
  • Excellente connaissance des outils standards de développement audio et de jeux vidéo;

  • Connaissance des normes de mastering;
  • -
  • Excellente compréhension de la relation entre les effets sonores (SFX) et la musique.;
  • Portfolio démontrant vos travaux en conception sonore.
