Contract Manager

Essential Functions for the Role

• Oversee contract administration activities across major infrastructure and energy projects.
• Manage and monitor Variation Orders (VOs), Requests for Change (RFCs), and contractual workflows in alignment with FIDIC or equivalent contractual frameworks.
• Maintain centralized contract, risk, and change management registers to ensure transparency, traceability, and audit readiness.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary impact assessments related to cost, schedule, scope, and commercial risks.
• Support proactive dispute avoidance and early warning processes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare contractual analyses, reports, and escalation papers for senior management and steering committees.
• Facilitate risk workshops and contribute to integrated project governance and decision-making processes.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants, and external stakeholders regarding contractual obligations and commercial matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Law, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Contract Management, or a related discipline will be considered an asset.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in contract management, change control, or commercial/project management within large-scale infrastructure or energy projects.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC or equivalent contract forms.
• Experience in commercial risk monitoring, claims prevention, and dispute avoidance.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of English language (both oral and written).
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with project controls and risk management tools will be considered an advantage.
