Class 1 Local Pick-up & Delivery Driver Great Wages

This driver is responsible for completing local deliveries and pick-ups promptly within the city of Red Deer and surrounding area. Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the equipment. Use an Electronic Logging Device to record hours of service and pre- and post-trip inspections of equipment. Use a handheld device for deliveries and pickups to record shortages or damage, and obtain customer signatures.

 Daily dock work includes stripping freight off inbound trailers and reloading it onto assigned trucks or trailers for deliveries.

Shift start time is 4:00 AM ,  Monday to Friday; however, some flexibility in availability will be required to meet customers' requirements. 

• Class 1 license
• 1 year of Class 1  pick-up and delivery experience
• 1 year of Pick-up and Delivery experience
• Knowledge and understanding of ELD and handheld technologies are assets
• Physically Fit
• Reliable and dependable
• TDG, WHMIS, and Forklift experience are assets
• Must be able to provide a criminal record check, driver's abstract, and 2 work-related references.
