About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer III with a strong combination of platform engineering and business analysis expertise. This role focuses on transforming business requirements into scalable technical solutions while collaborating with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and operations teams.

Unlike a traditional infrastructure engineering role, this position requires experience gathering business requirements, documenting functional and technical specifications, analyzing business processes, and delivering enterprise platform solutions.

The ideal candidate has experience with cloud platforms, software engineering, platform architecture, APIs, automation, and enterprise systems, along with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

Location: Cincinnati, OH (Madisonville)

Work Arrangement: Onsite/Hybrid (Based on Business Requirements)

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis

Translate business requirements into technical solutions
Gather, analyze, validate, and document business requirements
Facilitate stakeholder meetings
Analyze business processes and recommend improvements

Business Systems Analysis

Perform system analysis
Develop workflow diagrams and use cases

Platform Engineering

Maintain platform uptime and reliability
Design scalable platform architecture
Develop and maintain APIs
Improve automation and deployment processes
Enhance monitoring capabilities
Support cloud infrastructure

Cloud & Data Engineering

Support AWS-based environments
Work with Linux, Kubernetes, and Docker
Support Kafka, Spark, Hadoop, ETL, and Data Warehousing
Assist with analytics and machine learning platforms
