We're Looking For A: Material Handler

  • Opportunity available on Night Shift (6pm-6am)
  • $22+ per hour

What You'll Be Doing

  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in combos/vats according to predetermined sequence
  • Fill requisitions, work orders or requests for materials and distribute to production areas
  • Record amount of materials or items received or distributed
  • Operate forklift and automation system to move product throughout the manufacturing plant, including moving raw material to production floor and finished goods to packaged storage
  • Clean and maintain equipment, tooling and workspace area
  • Protect employees and company safety and security through reporting and stopping occurrences such as damage to product and/or property, theft, product tampering and questionable behavior
  • Support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives

Preferred Qualifications (Note: These are preferred and not required. We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don’t tick ALL of these boxes.):

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Prior material handling experience and experience operating powered industrial vehicles
  • Constant walking, standing, bending and stooping and bending
  • Frequent lifting of items up to 20 pounds
  • Ability to work in an environment with cold temperatures and a wet environment
  • Strong teamwork mentality and eager to work in a team environment
