Business Analyst

About The Role
Your responsibilities
- Organising and facilitating workshops with representatives of all business functions, various markets and/or external suppliers concerning specific business problems / opportunities / challenges and in order to identify and analyse solution alternatives
- Capturing, documenting and elaborating business requirements relating to original business needs that also includes collecting non-functional requirements and business reporting requirements in line with desired business solution
- Providing comprehensive analysis highlighting expert opinions on solution alternatives and their impact on the organisation
- Working with IT System Analysts, IT delivery and Testing (QA) teams to ensure alignment between requirements and the finally delivered solution; providing expert judgment on test scripts and test cases and if these properly cover original business requirements (both from quality and integrity perspective)
- Participating in user acceptance testing (UAT) ‘on behalf of’ the business
- Providing support to PMs and Business Owners in carrying out impact assessment of changes (including route cause analysis) relating to original business requirements & pre-agreed scope
- Producing deliverables such as Business Need Document (BND), Business Requirement Document (BRD) and Business Report specifications
- Working on local and international projects as Business Analyst.
Our requirements
- Degree or equivalent level of qualification, preferably in business-related or IT-related discipline, with specialisation in business analysis or project management
- Very good English knowledge
- Strong analytical skills
- Good problem solving skills
- Team player
- Highly developed communication skills
- Understanding of the Financial sector and/or IT industry and its ways of working, ideally within financial services
- Knowledge of Business Analysis principles, practices, techniques and tools
- 1-2 years experience as a Business Analyst (in similar position)
