Material Handler

The Material Handler is a key part of Multi-Power's current Inventory team and is responsible for receiving, maintaining inventory levels and allocation of goods. This position is for a candidate who is detail oriented and able to work independently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• •Loading and unloading daily shipping trucks as requested
• •Following purchase order instructions to relocate received goods to allocated staging area or inventory locations
• •Convey inventory stock level differences of items being restocked to inventory control personnel
• •General cleanup of warehouses
• •General warehouse organisation daily
• •Construction and/or assembly of crates and containers
• •Physical inventory counts as directed by inventory control personnel
• •Local parts pick-ups
• •Coordinating with multiple departments to move and stage manufactured parts
• •Assist inventory control personnel when requested with general warehouse duties: order picking and packing, assembling pallet racking and shelving, etc.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• •Good communication skills
• •Good organisational skills
• •High School graduate, Grade 12
• •Current driver’s license
• •Physically fit (routinely required to lift items up to 25 kilograms)
