About The Role

Reports to: Head of IT

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the

website using WordPress and PHP .

  • Build responsive, high-performance web pages from UI/UX designs .
  • Customize WordPress themes & plugins ; write clean PHP code .
  • Optimize website performance, speed, SEO structure, and user experience .
  • Troubleshoot bugs, refine workflows, and improve site functionality .
  • Work closely with product, marketing, and design teams to deliver updates .

Essential Requirements

  • 3 + years of experience in WordPress or Front-End Development .
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering , or related field .
  • Strong PHP programming skills .
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript , and jQuery .
  • Hands-on experience with WordPress themes, plugins, hooks , and filters .
  • Understanding of SEO-friendly site structure .
  • Professional English (written & verbal), Conversational Mandarin is a plus.

Desirable

  • Experience with Element , WPBakery , or building custom plugins .
  • Experience in the financial industry .
  • Knowledge of REST APIs & website integrations .
  • Familiarity with hosting, DNS, and server environments .
