This position will typically report to the Country Manager. You will be part of a team that includes the best field engineers in the cloud networking industry. And, you will have the support of our industry-leading Arista TAC, proof-of-concept resources, and executive team.

What Will You Do?

We are seeking a  Regional Head – North India  to lead our growth agenda across Government/PSU/Defence and Enterprise segments. This role demands a leader with  deep Public Sector expertise , strong executive presence, and the ability to shape strategic business outcomes in a complex, high-growth market.

As  Regional Head – North , you will

  • Lead the full business charter for the  North India region , covering Public Sector, PSUs, Defence, and large enterprise accounts.
  • Build and maintain high-level relationships with  senior government stakeholders, PSU decision-makers, CXOs, and strategic ecosystem partners .
  • Drive Arista’s  regional Public Sector GTM, policy alignment, and competitive positioning .
  • Lead and coach a  high-performance sales organization  with strong execution discipline.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Regional Business Leadership
  • Own  revenue, bookings, forecasting, and market share .
  • Drive  CXO-level engagement, account strategy, and competitive differentiation .
  • Ensure the highest standards of  sales hygiene, SFDC discipline, and predictable execution .
  • Partner closely with SEs, Services, Marketing, and Channel teams for end-to-end delivery.
  1. Public Sector & Government Leadership (Core Charter)

Drive Arista’s engagement across

  • Central Ministries & Departments  (MeitY, DoT, MoD, MHA, etc.)
  • State Governments & State Data Centers
  • PSUs / CPSEs  across energy, transport, manufacturing, infra, and telecom
  • Defence & Critical Infrastructure sectors
  • National digital programs  like Digital India, BharatNet, Smart Cities 2.0, India AI & Cloud missions, and cybersecurity modernization
  • Key expectations:
  • Build strong relationships with  bureaucrats, program directors, procurement heads, and technology leaders .
  • Navigate and influence  tenders, RFPs, eligibility norms, compliances, and large-scale ecosystem programs .
  • Position Arista in  mission-critical modernization cycles  across networking, cloud, cybersecurity, and AI infra.
  1. Policy, Compliance & Make-in-India Orientation
  • Strong command over  MII (Class 1/Class 2) norms, local value addition, and public procurement frameworks .
  • Engagement with government bodies like  DoT, MeitY, DPIIT, TEC , and PSU procurement authorities.
  • Align Arista’s offerings to regulatory and compliance standards.
  1. Partner & Ecosystem Leadership
  • Establish and govern a strong network of  Govt-focused SIs, PSU integrators, national partners, and bid consultants .
  • Lead partner enablement, compliance, and tender governance across the region
  • Drive joint positioning for strategic programs in partnership with  alliances, cloud providers, and OEM ecosystems . 
  1. People Leadership & Culture
  • Lead and mentor  Account Managers, Inside Sales, and cross-functional support teams .
  • Build a culture of  ownership, ethics, high performance, and operational discipline .
  • Drive coaching, development, and succession planning within the team.
  • 15–25 years  of experience in Enterprise Networking, Cloud, Cybersecurity, ICT, or Telecom.
  • Proven track record leading  multi-million-dollar Public Sector, PSU, or Defence technology programs .
  • Strong relationships with  government stakeholders, PSU leadership, program owners, consultants, and key ecosystem partners .
  • Deep understanding of  public procurement cycles, RFPs, empanelments, and compliance norms .
  • Excellent  executive presence , negotiation ability, and comfort with large, complex, multi-stakeholder engagements.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead  high-performance sales teams .
  • Strong governance mindset, integrity, and a disciplined operating rhythm.
