About The Role

We are looking for mid/entirety level Carpenters to work with our crews building bridges, dams, boat ramps, roads, and boardwalks throughout the State of WI. Work week is Monday through Friday afternoon. $100.00 per day per diem for locations over 30 miles from Janke General Office in Athens WI., Monday through Thursday. We offer Company paid heath insurance and life insurance . We also provide disability, dental, vision insurance. Along with a 401K matching percentage. Room for advancement.

Overview

  • The Carpenter is responsible for installing and repairing wood structures on the
  • construction site. With this they will also be needed to build and set forming for concrete
  • along the assisting in pouring said concrete.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Install formwork according to the contract documents
  • Collaborate with construction team to ensure proper construction sequencing
  • Exhibit competency and eGiciency in the use of relevant carpentry tools
  • Ensure that all carpentry work meets quality and safety standards
  • Install scaGolding, temporary supports, and other safety measures to support

construction processes.

  • Perform repairs and maintenance on existing formwork as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure tools and equipment are

properly stored and maintained.

  • Follow all safety protocols on the job site
  • Communicate with site supervisors to ensure smooth site operation.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Carpenter in construction
  • Proficient in the use of carpentry tools, including hand and power tools.
  • Strong understanding of formwork construction, concrete processes, and carpentry

techniques.

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project specifications.
  • Knowledge of carpentry related regulations and safety procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a

construction team.

  • Physical ability to lift heavy materials and perform carpentry work in various weather

conditions.

  • Valid driver’s license; additional certifications for specialized tools or equipment are

a bonus.
