About The Role
We are looking for mid/entirety level Carpenters to work with our crews building bridges, dams, boat ramps, roads, and boardwalks throughout the State of WI. Work week is Monday through Friday afternoon. $100.00 per day per diem for locations over 30 miles from Janke General Office in Athens WI., Monday through Thursday. We offer Company paid heath insurance and life insurance . We also provide disability, dental, vision insurance. Along with a 401K matching percentage. Room for advancement.

Overview
- The Carpenter is responsible for installing and repairing wood structures on the
- construction site. With this they will also be needed to build and set forming for concrete
- along the assisting in pouring said concrete.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Install formwork according to the contract documents
- Collaborate with construction team to ensure proper construction sequencing
- Exhibit competency and eGiciency in the use of relevant carpentry tools
- Ensure that all carpentry work meets quality and safety standards
- Install scaGolding, temporary supports, and other safety measures to support
construction processes.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on existing formwork as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure tools and equipment are
properly stored and maintained.
- Follow all safety protocols on the job site
- Communicate with site supervisors to ensure smooth site operation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Carpenter in construction
- Proficient in the use of carpentry tools, including hand and power tools.
- Strong understanding of formwork construction, concrete processes, and carpentry
techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project specifications.
- Knowledge of carpentry related regulations and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a
construction team.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and perform carpentry work in various weather
conditions.
- Valid driver’s license; additional certifications for specialized tools or equipment are
a bonus.
