The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Responsibilities

GENERAL SUMMARY: Ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care by overseeing the quality assurance and quality improvement processes within healthcare facility. Monitors, evaluates, and optimizes patient outcomes by implementing effective quality assurance and improvement initiatives. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to identify areas for enhancement, develop strategies for improvement, and measure the effectiveness of interventions. Drives a culture of excellence, safety, and patient-centered care through data analysis, performance metrics tracking, and continuous evaluation.

FT position available (40 hours)

A dynamic role available that combines Nursing Informatics and Quality and Safety teams in Golisano Children’s Hospital. We are seeking a motivated and flexible individual who will work collaboratively with both departments to provide support and leadership to GCH and Pediatric Nursing. The individual will work with the Assistant Chief Nursing Informatics Officer and GCH leadership to direct the introduction, maintenance, and evaluation of existing and new technology related to the digital health tools utilized by GCH, guiding the use of these tools and systems to enhance the safety of direct care. This individual will be responsible for project management and leading interdisciplinary teams in quality improvement efforts and quality assurance measures, aimed at sustaining our safety culture within GCH. Master’s Degree required, CNL preferred. Recent acute care experience and familiarity with electronic medical record systems required, Epic preferred.
