What you'll do

The Operational Excellence Engineer is responsible for driving continuous

improvement initiatives across operations to enhance efficiency, quality, reliability,

and scalability. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to identify

process gaps, implement data-driven solutions, and embed a culture of operational

excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute Lean, and continuous improvement initiatives across

manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and operations

  • Analyze end-to-end processes using value stream mapping to identify waste,

bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities

  • Develop and implement standard work, SOPs, and best practices
  • Provide ongoing support to the VP Operations in day-to-day operational

management

  • Define, track, and analyze operational KPIs (cycle time, yield, cost,

throughput, quality)

  • Build dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision making
  • Validate improvement impact using statistical and analytical methods
  • Partner with R&D, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program teams
  • Facilitate workshops, Kaizen events, and improvement training sessions
  • Support change management and adoption of new processes
  • Support operational scaling, new product introductions, and process maturity
  • Identify risks to operational performance and propose mitigation plan

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Systems,

Manufacturing, or related field)

  • 2+ years of experience in operations, planning manufacturing, or process

improvement roles

  • Hands-on experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence

methodologies

  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with operational data
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives
