Agent - Air Import

Join our Air Import team and play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and timely movement of international shipments. The Air Import Agent serves as a key link between customers, airlines, overseas offices, and customs authorities to deliver exceptional service and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage air import shipments from arrival through final delivery
• Review and process shipping documentation accurately and timely
• Monitor shipment status and proactively communicate updates to customers
• Arrange customs clearance and ensure compliance with local regulations
• Coordinate with airlines, vendors, truckers, and internal departments
• Resolve shipment exceptions and service issues promptly
• Maintain accurate operational and financial data within company systems
• Build strong relationships with customers through responsive and professional communication
• Ensure all shipments meet Expeditors' operational and compliance standards

We're looking for someone who

• Has experience in freight forwarding, logistics, supply chain, or customer service (preferred)
• Possesses strong organizational and time-management skills
• Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Is comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Has strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Is proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook
• Is fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Embraces teamwork, continuous learning, and a customer-focused mindset
