We are looking for a Merchandiser - Outerwear / Senior Merchandiser - Fabric & Trims in a growing team.

Here is what you need to know about Senior Merchandiser - Outerwear

• Manage production & order follow up to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery
• Assist in the product development process to ensure products meet with customers’ quality and budget requirements
• Price negotiation, sourcing suppliers to meet requirements and advance cost effectiveness
• Maintain strong business relationships with vendors for product development and production
• Understand customer needs and requirements, develop an effective sourcing strategy
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management

You might be a good fit if you have/are …

• Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in Merchandising, Product Development or related field, preferably in brand product management role from supplier side
• Previous experience in Outerwear, soft woven products and offshore manufacturing are advantages
• Diploma or above in Merchandising or related field
• Strong in production follow up and familiar with merchandising and product development process
• Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders of different levels including customers, vendors and internal teams
• Highly efficient, detail-oriented and well-organized individual with strong problem-solving skills; able to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Literate in Microsoft Office applications
• Occasional travel is required
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Merchandiser

Here is what you need to know about Senior Merchandiser - Fabric & Trims

• Material Sourcing – Identify and source fabrics and trims based on required standards in quality, stock and options availability, price, and lead time to support timely development and production
• Supplier Comparison and Selection – Support supplier comparison and selection based on materials, cost, quality, and reliability, and maintain sourcing records, supplier data, and cost sheets for reference
• Supplier Coordination & Cost Handling – Build and maintain strong partnership via constant communication with mills, traders, and trim suppliers particularly in both the China market and HK on material availability, pricing, order requirements, market trends and other updates
• Sample & Order Coordination – Arrange fabric swatches, trim samples, and quotations; ensure all material details are accurate and properly documented and follow up on sample status and supplier responses to meet timelines
• Issue Resolution – Identify and communicate with relevant stakeholders and merchandising counterparts on potential issues such as limited stock, quality concerns, or delivery delays; and suggest practical alternatives to solve the issue

You might be a good fit if you have/are …

• Diploma or above in Textile, Fashion, Merchandising, or related disciplines
• 3–5 years of sourcing or merchandising experience, preferably in fabrics, trims, or related product categories
• Exposure in China and HK sourcing market is preferred
• Knowledge of fabrics, trims, or material categories will be an advantage
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Meticulous, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks
• Proficient in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
• Familiar with MS Office; knowledge of PLM is a plus
• Candidates with less experience but have a strong interest in apparel sourcing and willingness to learn are welcome
