About The Role

Position Overview

Double M Aviation is seeking an experienced

Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Technician with a strong background in piston-powered general aviation aircraft, specifically Twin Cessnas, Beechcraft, and Piper models. This role is ideal for a technician who is comfortable working independently, understands GA inspection and troubleshooting processes, and takes pride in high-quality, detail-oriented maintenance.

Required Aircraft Experience

Candidates should have 5+ years of hands-on experience working on one or more of the following aircraft

  • Cessna: 310, 414, 414A, 421, etc.
  • Beechcraft: Baron 58, 58P, Bonanza A36, etc.
  • Piper: PA-28, PA-32, PA-34 (Seneca), PA-46 (Malibu/Mirage), etc.

Experience with similar piston twin or complex single-engine aircraft will also be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections, discrepancy correction, and routine maintenance
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and systems-related issues
  • Accurately document maintenance actions in accordance with FAA regulations and company SOPs.
  • Work collaboratively with maintenance leadership.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment

Qualifications

  • Valid FAA A&P Certificate
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to pass a background check at a level sufficient to apply for an airport badge.
  • 5+ years of general aviation maintenance experience required
  • Demonstrated experience with Twin Cessna and/or Beechcraft aircraft preferred
  • Strong understanding of GA inspection processes and documentation
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Professional, team-oriented mindset and strong attention to detail
