Quirch Foods is hiring experienced CDL Class A Delivery Drivers / CDL- A Drivers / Commercial Truck Drivers / Route Delivery Drivers to join our transportation team in our Hammond, LA location.

A s a CDL Class A Local Delivery Driver, you’ll safely deliver food products to customer locations while operating in compliance with DOT, FMCSA, a nd company transportation safety standards.

Essential Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A commercial tractor-trailer / commercial motor vehicle (CMV) to complete scheduled customer deliveries
• Perform local a nd multi-stop route deliveries in varying locations a nd traffic/weather conditions
• Load, unload, a nd deliver product using safe handling procedures a nd a pproved delivery equipment
• Perform required pre-trip inspections, post-trip inspections, DVIR completion, a nd vehicle safety checks
• Verify delivery a ccuracy, invoices, product counts, a nd customer paperwork
• Collect payments or required documentation when a pplicable
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations, FMCSA requirements, Hours of Service rules, CDL qualifications, a nd company safety policies
• Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, a nd delivery equipment safely
• Deliver professional customer service a t delivery locations
• Maintain strong a ttendance, punctuality, a nd route dependability

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding touch freight delivery role.

Drivers must be a ble to

• Frequently lift, carry, push, a nd pull product
• Regularly handle product a veraging 40–60 lbs.
• Repeatedly lift product a nd cases up to 100 lbs.
• Enter a nd exit truck cab frequently
• Work in fast-paced delivery environments

Required Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL- A )
• Current DOT Medical Card / Medical Certification
• Acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR)
• A bility to meet a ll DOT / FMCSA driver qualification requirements
• Strong commitment to transportation safety a nd compliance
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, a nd holidays a s needed
