About The Role

Product Analyst Elemica, an award-winning digital supply chain company in the SaaS community, is seeking a driven and self-motivated Product Analyst for its Multi-Carrier Shipping Software. This is an opportunity to join a growing team of talented and committed individuals, unified in the common goal of exceeding our clients’ expectations.

We’re looking for someone who stands out from the crowd — a proactive problem-solver who takes full ownership of their work, thrives with minimal direction, and is energized by tackling ambiguous challenges head-on.

Our Values

At Elemica, our success is founded on a shared set of core values that guide our decisions and actions

  • Curiosity — We delight in discovering new challenges and feel compelled to solve them
  • Integrity — We are reliable and trustworthy, steadfast in our commitment to colleagues, customers, and partners
  • Accountability — We show up and deliver measurable, meaningful business value. Consistently.
  • Passion — We have a shared enthusiasm for transforming our clients’ supply chains

The Role

As a Product Analyst at Elemica, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business users and technical teams, ensuring successful development and optimization of our product portfolio. You will balance business and product strategies while meeting client commitments — driving decisions independently and with confidence.

You will work closely with the application development team on our world-class Multi-Carrier Shipping Solution, collaborating with product managers to define, develop, and release the highest value-generating capabilities. This role demands a self-starter mentality: someone who can pick up a challenge with little to no instruction and deliver results.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and drive the product backlog — refining epics into actionable stories with development teams
  • Solicit, capture, and lead requirements for transportation and shipping applications
  • Lead product sprint reviews, communicating value delivered and driving stakeholder alignment
  • Document release plans and notes; conduct release demos and training for key stakeholders
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on Elemica’s Multi-Carrier Shipping Solution
  • Develop and maintain product documentation resources and knowledge bases
  • Take ownership of team direction — lead and mentor team members as needed
  • Manage small-to-medium development projects end-to-end, on time and on budget
  • Troubleshoot and oversee complex integrations between Elemica and external source systems
  • Leverage best practices in integrations and APIs to deliver and manage enterprise-level data flows
  • Proactively identify and solve problems before they are escalated

Requirements

Shipping & Logistics Expertise

  • Hands-on experience with Parcel, LTL (Less-than-Truckload), and FTL (Full Truckload) shipping
  • Experience with both US Domestic and Global shipping operations
  • Deep understanding of carrier requirements, compliance standards, and industry best practices

Work Style

  • True self-starter — able to take on new challenges and projects with little to no instruction
  • Comfortable leading a team and guiding others toward shared goals
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and hands-on in approach
  • Thrives in a high-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and a drive to find creative solutions to difficult problems

Tools & Technology

  • Proficiency with JIRA for backlog management and sprint tracking
  • Experience with AHA! for product roadmap and strategy management
  • Experience with MIRO for collaborative diagramming and workshops
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools to enhance productivity and product thinking
  • Familiarity with MS Office, Confluence, and Software Experience Management tools (e.g., Pendo)

Collaboration & Communication

  • 2+ years of experience as a SaaS software product analyst
  • Agile/Scrum team experience — sprint ceremonies, retrospectives, story creation
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to audiences of all levels, including customers
  • Experience with business needs assessment, requirement negotiation, and user story creation
  • Experience with full SDLC and agile development in an enterprise software environment

Nice to Haves

  • SAP experience, particularly in modules such as SD (Sales & Distribution), MM (Materials Management), EWM (Extended Warehouse Management), TM (Transportation Management), and/or FI (Financial Accounting)
  • Experience integrating with ERP, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • MBA preferred
  • Product Management Certification (e.g., CSPO, PMC)

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of hands-on product analyst experience in a SaaS environment
