Palmerston North Class 4 Metro Driver

An opportunity has become available for an experienced Class 4 Driver, based at our Palmerston North Branch. This Class 4 Driver role is a permanent full-time position, reporting to the Central Region Manager.

We are after a person with the following skills, experience and certifications

Must have

• Clean and valid Class 4 drivers License
• Dangerous Goods Endorsement
• Minimum 2 years’ experience of class 4 driving in New Zealand domestic transport industry or international comparison
• Good driving skills, able to drive and back a truck and trailer unit with confidence
• Strong, reliable and safe work ethics
• Able to work unsupervised
• Good command of the English language
• Relates well to others

Desirable

• Current Forklift Operator Certificate
• Current DG Handling for Road Transport Certificate
• Basic knowledge of the geographic layout
• First Aid certificate
