Cross Border Transport Co-Ordinator

The purpose of the role is to

• Manage daily cross-border (import & export) Netlogix international freight movements efficiently to ensure timely delivery and minimize delays.
• Coordinate booking space for sea and air shipments, considering factors like cargo volume, vessel availability, and transit times.
• Maintain accurate schedules for arrival and departure times by closely monitoring shipment progress and adjusting plans as needed.
• Arrange transportation to and from ports and airports, selecting the most cost-effective and reliable carriers or freight forwarders.
• Handle paperwork for smooth cargo flows, including obtaining and organizing documents such as Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) forms, Verified Gross Mass (VGM) certificates, Shipper's Letter of Instruction (SLI), commercial invoices, and Export Declaration Orders (EDO).
• Communicate regularly with customers, shippers, transport companies, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders to provide updates on shipment status, address concerns, and coordinate logistics effectively.
• Update all transport movements in Netlogix systems accurately and promptly, including entering data, rating & tracking shipments, and updating statuses to ensure real-time visibility of cargo movements.
• Manage customer invoicing records meticulously, maintaining master spreadsheets with detailed freight movement information for accurate billing and financial reporting.
• Respond promptly to customer queries and concerns, providing exceptional service and resolving issues to uphold customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Strategize for process optimization and continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance service quality through innovative solutions and best practices.
