Senior Supervisor, Pension Administration

The Senior Supervisor, Pension Administration is accountable for managing all operational processes for pension plans administered by the Bank, including contributions, redemptions, member account management, NAV processes, regulatory compliance, and reporting. The role ensures high-quality client service and operational accuracy while minimizing regulatory and reputational risks.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Contribution & Redemption Processing

• Oversee processing of daily pension contributions and ensure correct allocation to members.
• Approve redemptions and ensure payments are completed according to the policy.
• Ensure compliance with pension plan rules.

NAV & Valuation Oversight

• Support the NAV process by ensuring the pension transactional supporting documentation is complete and accurate.
• Ensure pricing updates, unit calculations, and valuations are accurate.
• Oversee reconciliations of cash, holdings, and units.

Member Account Administration

• Maintain accurate member records, statements, and onboarding data.
• Oversee bulk transfers, rollovers, and employer-level transactions.

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure pension operations adhere to regulatory expectations.
• Prepare data and reports for auditors and regulators.
• Maintain accurate SOPs and operational flow documentation.

Leadership

• Supervise Pension Officers and oversee daily workflow.
• Conduct training and performance reviews.
• Prepare management and Board reports periodically and upon request

Requirements/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
• Up to 5 years of experience in operations and/or fund administration
• Experience in understanding pension rules, administration and reporting
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills
• Experience with reconciliation
• Client service skills
• Ability to lead a pension operations team
