Financial Analyst Woodbridge International Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa (Hybrid)

Core job responsibilities are as follows

Delivery of M&A activities

• Understanding of M&A activities including financial due diligence, analysis and modeling
• Manage many deals, including the preparation of management presentations, updating financial models, staying abreast of client performance, and guiding the transaction forward.
• Recognize and expose risks associated with each project activity
• Ensure projects are managed appropriately, internal processes adhered to
• Strong financial background, understanding EBITDA and balance sheet modelling
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Working proficiency with CRM systems

• Experience in a leadership role will be preferred
• Financial Experience, 2-5 years

Requirements Education/Qualifications

• Degree in accounting or finance (a focus on financial analysis and modelling will be preferred)
• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of work experience in analysis, accounting & finance is preferred.
• Ability to execute against firm, often short-term, deadlines and manage multiple projects.
• Aptitude for applying financial accounting, corporate finance, business analysis, and report writing
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to handle and thrive with increased independence
