As a Senior Indirect Tax Analyst, you will support the delivery of accurate and compliant indirect tax processes across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring that reporting obligations are met and risks are effectively managed. You will work closely with the Global Indirect Tax Director and cross-functional teams to provide insights, support business initiatives, and strengthen governance across the indirect tax function.
In this role, you will contribute to compliance, advisory, and process improvement activities, leveraging data, systems, and analytical skills to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of indirect tax operations. You will play an important role in ensuring the organisation remains compliant while supporting commercial and strategic objectives.
In this role you will
Key responsibilities
- Tax compliance and reporting: Prepare and support the timely and accurate filing of VAT, GST, and other indirect tax returns across multiple jurisdictions.
- Reconciliations and accuracy: Assist with reconciliations between indirect tax returns and financial accounting records, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Audit and authority support: Support responses to indirect tax audits, reviews, and information requests from tax authorities.
- Tax accounting: Ensure accurate accounting of indirect taxes, identifying and resolving discrepancies where required.
- E-invoicing and digital reporting: Support e-invoicing and digital reporting requirements, including data validation and control processes.
- Business advisory support: Assist in analysing indirect tax implications of new business activities, products, and cross-border transactions.
- Strategic project support: Support the Global Indirect Tax Director with input on business initiatives, system changes, and process improvements.
- Tax research and insights: Conduct research on legislative changes, including developments in VAT, and prepare clear summaries and recommendations for stakeholders.
- Risk identification: Identify potential indirect tax risks and process gaps, supporting mitigation and remediation efforts.
- Controls and governance: Support the maintenance and improvement of internal controls, documentation, and governance frameworks for indirect tax processes.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with finance, accounting, IT, commercial, and operational teams to resolve indirect tax issues.
- External advisor coordination: Liaise with external advisors to support compliance requirements, audits, and technical queries.
- Data and system support: Assist in data extraction, validation, and analysis for indirect tax reporting using ERP systems.
- Process improvement and automation: Contribute to automation initiatives and continuous improvement of indirect tax processes and systems.

- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in indirect tax, VAT, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, taxation, or a related discipline.
- Strong technical knowledge of indirect tax principles, including VAT and GST compliance and reporting.
- Experience working with ERP systems and data analysis tools for tax reporting and reconciliations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex tax topics clearly to non-specialists.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Fluent English required.
- Experience supporting audits, working with external advisors, and contributing to process improvements is beneficial.
