The opportunity

Are you a strong leader with a passion for horticulture? Or an experienced leader looking for a change? We’re looking for a driven and dependable Foreperson to join our Springhill Orchard in Ongaonga. As Foreperson, you’ll be entrusted with overseeing our apple production operations all year round, ensuring Craigmore can continue to bring quality to the market.

You will have the opportunity to work alongside our management team to refine processes, enhance efficiency and to bring work plans to life while prioritising safety every step of the way.

What we’re looking for

• A strong grasp of health and safety protocols, with a commitment to putting safety first
• Experience in Horticulture, specifically apples.
• Ideally, a National Certificate in Horticulture Level 4 qualification or a dedication to pursuing certification
• Great execution and hands on skills
• Proficiency in leading and managing teams, coupled with a solid understanding of agrichemicals and machinery
• A knack for monitoring and reporting labour costs to management
• Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to motivate diverse teams to achieve predefined standards
