About The Role

District Manager – Family Islands

Purpose of Role

As the District Manager – Family Islands at Paradise Games, you exist to ensure consistent, disciplined execution across a cluster of stores within the Family Islands. You are responsible for strengthening customer experience, safeguarding cash and assets, and maintaining operational continuity across a dispersed district.

In our mission to be the most trusted operator in The Bahamas, your role is critical to ensuring that standards are upheld consistently across islands, internal controls are maintained, and stores remain customer-ready and compliant at all times.

What You Will Take Ownership Of

You are accountable for the operational performance, cash integrity, customer experience, and people discipline across your assigned district. You ensure stores open on time, remain compliant with company standards, and deliver a consistent customer experience. You act as custodian of cash within the district, managing and maintaining the safety of cash and cash bags allocated to your locations, ensuring disciplined reconciliation, variance reporting, and fraud prevention practices are followed.

You lead performance through coverage discipline, scheduling oversight, coaching, training, and performance management, ensuring that team standards remain consistent across locations. You identify operational risks and local market opportunities and submit recommendations to the Head of Retail for review and approval, ensuring that material operational changes are not implemented without approval.

Authority & Decision Rights: You are authorised to direct daily district execution across assigned locations, enforce company standards, and address operational breakdowns through the appropriate supervisory chain. You may recommend staffing actions, performance outcomes, and disciplinary actions to HR and the Head of Retail in alignment with the company process. You are responsible for cash custody standards across the district and must escalate significant cash variances, compliance breaches, safety incidents, or operational failures immediately. You are not authorized to implement material operational changes (including opening hours or structural changes to store operations) without approval from the Head of Retail.

Who You Will Collaborate With

You will report to the Head of Retail. Success in this role requires structured collaboration with District and Safety Supervisors where applicable, to ensure day-to-day execution standards are consistently applied across stores. You will work closely with HR on staffing, performance management, and training; Finance on cash controls, reconciliations, and variance reporting; Safety on compliance routines and incident escalation; and Marketing/Corporate teams on the execution of approved promotions and rollouts. You must also maintain effective working relationships with local stakeholders and service providers to keep stores operational.
