Job Description
Serve as the local HR point of contact and liaison between the Hermosillo workforce and management, Intugo HR, and Corporate HR (El Paso Headquarters) to facilitate HR processes, personnel actions, employee inquiries, and employment-related communications.
Recruitment and onboarding
Liaison with hiring managers and Intugo HR to include
- Following up on requisitions, offers, new hires, drug screenings, workspace locations, etc.
- Assist with conducting NEO (New Employee Orientation)
- Assist with requesting/activating access to systems
- Develop and manage a position control system to ensure accurate workforce planning and FTE count for HMO workforce.
HRIS Functions
Assist as needed with drafting letters: promotions, demotions, transfers, offer letters (Intugo HR is currently drafting these letters).
Secures and compiles data on workforce trends and metrics to include position control, recruitment reports, exit interviews, turnover, time to hire, etc.
Maintains employee data in Workday, performs audits, supports end users, and partners with Corporate HR and system administrators to resolve system issues and implement enhancements
Ensures data accuracy and integrity through regular audits, reconciliations, and controls to support compliance and reliable analytics for HMO workforce.
Analyzes HR data trends and metrics to provide insights and recommendations that inform key business decisions.
Enters and administers information in Workday including but not limited to promotions, transfers, demotions, terminations, and other human resources related transactions.
Identify opportunities to enhance HRIS/Workday functionalities and workflows.
Provides training and support to HRIS HMO users.
Ensures HRIS practices comply with data protection regulations and internal policies.
Deactivating access to departing employees to systems
Compensation & Classification:Assist with the following functions
- Position control and workforce planning analyses
- Job description development and maintenance
- Collection and analysis of compensation survey data
- Job evaluations and classification reviews
- Compensation-related reporting and documentation
- Market data research and benchmarking projects
Employee Relations
Coordinate and follow up on employee contract renewals and non-renewals
Coordinate employee recognition and engagement programs to support a positive workplace culture and employee experience.
Gather, organize, and coordinate information and documentation related to labor hearings, lawsuits/claims, investigations, and other employment-related matters
Administer and track quarterly performance evaluations and Core Value Analyzer (CVA) assessments; provide reporting and follow-up support to managers.
Provide administrative and coordination support for workplace investigations conducted by Intugo HR, including gathering documentation, coordinating meetings, maintaining records, and facilitating communication
Support managers and supervisors with routine employee relations matters, including performance management, attendance concerns, policy interpretation, employee communications, and corrective action documentation.
Serve as a local HR resource for employees by responding to routine inquiries and escalating complex employee relations concerns to HR leadership and/or the PEO as appropriate.
Training & Development
Coordinates, delivers, and facilitates training programs across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, professional development, leadership development, and learning aligned with HMO workforce needs.
Conducts training needs assessment and develops customized programs and trainings based on the needs assessment outcome.
Manages training operations and administration, including scheduling, communications, logistics, resources, and reporting.
Other functions
- Assisting with drafting HR policies for Hermosillo operations
- Coordinating Hermosillo employee engagement events
- Create and distribute HR communications via appropriate channels
- Create and run various reports
Skills/Abilities
- Strong knowledge of employment and labor laws and relevant HR-related regulations.
- Knowledge of compensation principles, job evaluation, and market pricing.
- Experience with salary range development and compensation analysis.
- Familiarity with compensation survey data and tools (e.g., PayScale, ERI, Korn Ferry).
- Understanding of benefits programs, including health and retirement plans.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks while providing creative solutions.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Flexible in dynamic environments; a team player willing to support varying needs across multiple entities and collaborate with various departments and external vendors.
- Strong written and verbal communications and professional interaction across all levels.
- Quickly learns and adapts to new technologies to improve HR processes.
- Able to exercise good judgment and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
- Experience working with HRIS and compensation systems (e.g., Workday)
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field and a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Human Resources; to include two (2) years’ experience in the area(s) assigned.
Or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
