About The Role

Our Client is an IT based management services organization, a trusted partner in delivering critical infrastructure and technology solutions for government projects. They are seeking an experienced Arista Certified Network Engineer to jointeam for a critical deployment project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Network Implementation:
  • Design, configure, and deploy Arista-based network solutions according to project requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration with existing network environments.
  • Maintenance & Support:
  • Perform routine network maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Provide on-call support for critical incidents outside regular office hours.
  • Address network issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions.
  • System Optimization:
  • Monitor and analyze network performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Apply firmware and software updates to maintain network reliability and security.
  • Documentation:
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports for stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Compliance & Standards:
  • Ensure all network implementations and maintenance adhere to best practices, regulatory requirements, and security protocols.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in networking, with at least 5 years of experience in network engineering and 1–2 years of hands-on experience with Arista technologies.
  • Expertise in implementing and maintaining network solutions.
  • Expertise in networking protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, MPLS) and routing technologies.
  • Experience with network automation tools (e.g., Ansible) and scripting (Python) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of network security practices, including firewalls, VPNs, and access control.
  • Flexibility to support after-office hours maintenance and on-call duties.
