Electrical Engineering Technician – Resident Engineer Function (m/f/d)

About The Role
In this role, you will serve as the on-site technical expert for hands-on electrical engineering
activities in Sweden. In this role, you will
- Act as the key link between different functions within the organization, enabling local modifications. Your responsibilities will include manual rework operations on printed circuit boards (PCBs) for prototype builds, component replacement, and mechanical assembly.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, layouts, and technical drawings to support prototype development, troubleshooting, testing, and accessory integration activities. The role also involves ensuring compliance with ESD and safety requirements, as well as performing functional verification prior to release
- Responsible for the procurement, ordering, and management of electronic and mechanical components for prototyping and test-activities, as well as supplier communication, order follow-up, specification verification, and coordination with other teams.
- Work closely with our customers, and therefore strong communication skills are essential.
- This is a resident role, meaning that you will be employed by AUMOVIO while working on-site at one of AUMOVIO’s customer companies.
- To succeed in this role, you are someone who thrives at the intersection of theory and
- practice. You are a skilled electronics technician with a passion for seeing solutions come to
- life in real-world systems. At the same time, you act as a professional and communicative
- link between AUMOVIO and our customer.
Requirements
- Higher Vocational Education degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, including significant hands-on practical training;
- 2 years of experience in a similar position;
- Ability to read the electrical schematics;
- Knowledge in test equipment usage (oscilloscopes and multimeters);
- Experience in installation and maintenance of electrical systems;
- Basic programming and diagnostics skills of control units.
- Hands-on experience of troubleshooting faults in real-world systems.
- Fluent in English.
