About The Role

Frencken is a high-precision manufacturing partner for the world's most demanding industries - semionductor equipment, medical technology, and analytical systems.

We're part of Frencken Group, a listed high-tech company with a global footprint. We are a team of specialists who know each other, take pride in the work, and combine the most modern production technologies with genuine craftsmanship. Informal culture, short lines, and a shared standard of excellence.

Your role

As CAM Engineer, you sit at the starting point of every new product we make. In our Work Preparation department you translate customer drawings and specifications into the working method, sequence, and processing conditions that bring each part to life. You define the routing across departments and machines, and you make the call on clamping, tool lists, fixtures, and CNC programs for every operation.

What you'll do

  • Prepare production orders and guide them through the production process
  • Write CNC programs in TopSolid 7
  • Define routing, clamping strategies, tool lists, and fixtures per operation
  • Coordinate with the Quality department throughout production
  • Coordinate and optimise operations to improve quality, throughput, and cost

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 7 years' experience in CNC milling, including 5+ years as a CAM programmer
  • Experience with CAM systems and macro programming (machining centres and rotary-milling combinations)
  • Solid knowledge of materials, machining technology, clamping technology, and CNC production
  • Proactive, flexible, and ambitious to work at the sub-micron level
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Siemens 840D control
  • Dutch language skills

Who you are

An expert in machining - especially CNC milling - with strong technical insight and an eye for optimisation. You're proactive, flexible, and genuinely energised by working on products where tolerances are measured in microns and there's no room for guesswork. You think in processes, spot the smarter route, and bring people with you.

What we offer

  • CAO Metalektro employment conditions and a competitive salary
  • 27 vacation days + 13 CAO (ADV) days
  • Bonus scheme
  • Informal, collegial culture where every individual matters
  • Challenging high-tech projects with passionate colleagues
  • Opportunities to develop and grow

Why Frencken?

You'll work on products that truly matter, for customers with the highest standards, in an organisation that never stops getting better. Craftsmanship, collaboration, and continuous improvement every single day.
