WHAT YOU WILL DO

In this role, you will be responsible for developing new products—from initial idea to successful market launch. Your key tasks include:

• Leading NPD (New Product Development) projects across the full stage-gate process—from idea to market launch
• Developing innovative product and business concepts based on market and customer insights
• Analyzing trends, competition, and customer needs, including Voice-of-Customer activities
• Managing and coordinating complex, cross-functional projects
• Ensuring timelines, budgets, and milestones are met
• Preparing and presenting concepts, business cases, and decision proposals
• Conducting risk analyses and deriving appropriate mitigation actions
• Collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders
• Supporting product launches, trainings, trade fairs, and performance reviews
• Monitoring post-launch performance and driving continuous improvement

ABOUT YOU

• University degree, preferably in engineering, materials science, or business administration
• Several years of experience in project management, ideally in a technical environment (e.g., construction, infrastructure, mechanical engineering)
• Experience in new product development (knowledge of stage-gate processes is a plus)
• Understanding of supply chain, procurement, quality, and business case calculations
• Basic knowledge of plastics processing (extrusion/injection molding) is an advantage
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on innovation, marketing, and engineering
• Excellent communication and persuasion skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams
• Very good German and English language skills
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% (e.g., for customer and project meetings)
